Aren’t you tired of having 1,000,000 things you want to do and never actually doing them?
In the summer of 2019, I got the sinking feeling in my stomach that I was wasting a phenomenal amount of my time. School was a drag, I was trapped in a dead-end job, and I had no energy to manage my side business. My 3+ year relationship had gone down the drain and I had lost interest in almost all of my hobbies. Life had become little more than an uninspiring loop: I dragged myself to classes, then to work, and back home to veg out in a basement apartment, watching TV and constantly forgetting to even eat. Nothing had gone according to my plan and I didn’t think I had it in me to make a new one. I swore off dating and threw myself into work as much as possible, until one too many encounters with a misogynistic manager killed my desire to even care about that and I literally asked HR for a demotion.
I was absolutely miserable. Just when I thought sudden kidney infection landed me in the hospital and doctors discovered that I had a small mass growing in my kidney. Medical tests interrupted my academic tests and a failed attempt at a new relationship plunged me into the lowest point of the entire year. For five days, I didn’t sleep at all. I had taken the week off work and binged watched Money Heist the whole time. I barely ate or answered my phone. I had completely burnt out. Pile of ashes. The good thing about hitting rock bottom, though, is this: you can only go up from there.
In less than two months from that day, I was eating and sleeping normally, staying on top of assignments, had moved to a new home and quit the dead end job. I was active, fit, and happily in a healthy relationship. How? I coached myself back to a balanced state of mind. For one, it was not the first time I had to reinvent myself and take control of a life slipping away from me. But more importantly, I already knew what to do because I was the one others normally came to for help and advice. All of the tools and strategies I provided to others over the years came in handy for me during my own time of need.
Fast forward. COVID-19 has gotten most, if not all, of us a bit down in the dumps, but I’m here to guide you as you get your life back on track and carve out your new normal. My coaching services are meant to give you your MOJO back and get you working on whatever it is that you want to change in your life.
You don’t have to live the same day everyday. Whether you have a business or hobby you want to get into, or you want to make major changes to the career, lifestyle, relationships, or habits, you’ll have a safe space to share and get advice.
If you’re interested in life coaching, here is what you can expect:
- An intake session to assess the fit between you and your coach and to establish what your personal goals are and to set some objectives to measure your progress.
- A professional yet comfortable arrangement with a coach who will guide you and give you any push (or gentle nudges!) that you need to live your best life.
- Exercises and tools personalized just for you to aid in the process of helping you achieves your goals and feel more positive towards the future.
My coaching packages are designed to help you create the life you were meant to live. Each 45-minute session will be focused solely on you as we work through your inner thought processes and turn them into action plans you can follow indefinitely on your own.
Please keep in mind that coaching is all about guiding you towards your goals and is not in any way a substitute for psychological therapy and counselling if you’re going through mental illness.
